leaking brake fluid

Postby Lud » Wed Mar 25, 2009 12:52 pm

I'm afraid I tweaked the hard brake line from the right rear drum where it connects at the diff breather junction on my rear diff. Now its leaking brake fluid at a good pace. I was just thinking about taking this one to a shop. Any recommendations? Can I just go buy a hard line? If so how the heck do I install it?

Take it to the rumblegoat racing race shop and borrow some tools and advise to get it fixed.
You can follow me.... but it's gonna hurt ;)

I got er done! Decided to give it a try. I bought the line for like 10 bucks, bent it like the old line and then put it in. Easy. The only pain was bleeding the system but I got some help for that.

That and I learned how to adjust the drum brakes.

Jeep stops way better now!
