Meacham to Tollgate?

Postby tobyw » Mon Apr 13, 2009 11:19 am

Is there a trail from the Meacham area across to the Tollgate/Jubilee Lake area? We used to camp in the Meacham area (like 25+ years ago...), and I thought there was such a trail, but I'm not sure??
Yep, I've wheeled one of those, too...

Excellent!! Does it have a FS number or anything, or is it just a normal roadway between Meacham and Tollgate? Gravel, paved? Any chance you know of an online map?

It's the Mt. Emily Rd.(NFD31), and becomes Skyline Rd. around Runckle Junction. Google Union County, Oregon, as the FS site doesn't seem to be working. Also called Summit Rd. where it leaves I82 @ MP243. We've driven it a couple times, and it's pretty much all fair going.

Good deal... Basically I've got a group of buddies coming to town in a couple weeks that want to go camping and hiking. I was thinking of camping around Meacham and then taking the Jeep across to the Tollgate area to hike Ninemile, but wanted to make sure such a path existed 8)
