Yakima County Outdoor Recreation - Maps

The Yakima County Sheriff's Office has announced the fourth edition of the Yakima County Outdoor Recreation Reccreation Guide is now available.

Again it has been printed on a waterproof and tear resistant paper - great for that inclement weather; it is also available on CD in PDF format; you can purchase these maps for $10.00 at:

Yakima Co. Sheriff's Office/1822 So 1st Street- Yakima (509) 574-2525;
MiDee Stitch Saddle and Tack/4120 Powerhouse Road, Yakima;
Naches Ranger Station - Naches;
Many's MArket - Naches;
Chinook Pass - Squaw Rock, Gold Creek Station, and Whistlin Jacks;
White Pass - Getaway Sports, Rimrock Grocery, Silver Beach Restaurant, Trout Lodge;
Ahtanum - Tampico Store.

You can also purchase through the mail - send your name, address and $12.00 to Yakima Co. Sheriff's Office c/o Outdoor Recreation Program - P.O. Box 1388 Yakima, WA 98907-1388

The map covers the following - Naches Ranger District, Green Dot and Yakima County boundaries; Forest Service and private roads, four wheel drive/ATV/motorcycle routes and trails; non-motorized areas (camping areas, snow parks) --- plus.
