Skeeters

Postby TJDave » Fri Jun 19, 2009 5:40 am

Are the mosquitos bad this year compared to last? Or, is it just because we moved to Pasco, and people that live in Pasco are better for snacking on? The mosquito control fogger truck cruises our neighborhood every night, but it does not seem to be doing any good. I can't remember them being this bad when I lived on the other side of the creek, in Richland.

Just wondering if the skeeters are bad at your house. I'm going to Costo today to buy a 5 gallon bucket of Off.

Havnt even noticed them lol. You want to see Skeeters go backpack into the Silvania Wilderness area In upper michigan. Damn things were wedging themselves underneath my pack straps and biting there too. We couldnt sleep at night because the howl from the bugs swarming the forest was deafening.

They are bad this year. We have great skeeter control here usually. It is failing. Badly.

I found my local source of itch bugs. The neighbor still has several old tires sitting around his pasture sprinklers. Combined with the 3" tall weeds, it is a prime producer of misery.
