Local shops that are trusted?

Hey guys I kinda hate posting this since I have always done my own stuff when it comes to cars/trucks but where is a shop around tri that is trusted enough not to just charge stuff that's not needed and 100% fix a problem? (Ive had bad experiences with the VW dealership)

my front Dana 30 is starting to act up and wont go into 4wd nicely and hops when going around turns...I dont yet know enough about the transfer cases and solid axles to really dig into it myself, nor do i have the time... I thought it might be a wheel bearing or u joint, but I have no idea.

they tend to be alittle higher in price then others but they fix it right the first time everytime i have gone in their. some of they guys that work their are really into 4x4 as well. hope this helps.

I can second Dale. Part of our extended family has a SAAB 9/5 3.0 Turbo, and they seem to be the only shop in town that understands it's just a car, not some exotic breed or other...

Sounds like it is stuck in 4x... the shift fork in the t case can cause your issues and it's a pretty easy fix...
