so, here's the story a while back al built my rear axle. now i'm in germany and need my jeep shipped to kodiak, ak. i've always had problems with the rear disc brake e-brake set-up. nothing to do with al's work, trust me. but since he's worked on the rear axle assembly he's probably the most familiar with it.

the inlaws took the jeep in to have it repaired so it could be shipped. of course the repair shop says can't find parts for it. the rear brake assembly is from an exploder. i'm thinking it's probably as simple as a cable but since it's a "custom" set up between the jeep e-brake system and the exploder brakes they are completely lost.

i was wondering if anyone had al's number so the inlaws could call him or take it to him to have it repaired. assuming he is still in business.

His son, Norm works at Col. Ctr. Firestone; (509) 735-1500 for Firestone. He posted his number as (509)924-7853 on the board. I went past Al’s 2nd shop, he is no longer in the big green one that he was at forever, and I do not believe it had his number on the side of the 2nd one anymore, so I do not know if he is still in business. He was doing work on appointment only basis.
