got the rochester

i picked up the carb from dans garage. There were 2 different kinds, for the 350 and one for the 283 or something. i got the one for an 70s 350 and it looks like it will fit on my intake manifold. How do i know if its the right one? and is there anyone who wouldnt mind helping me rebuild it? thanks guys
