Totally depends on what you want to do. If you want to run the trails start with a <105" wheelbase with a couple lockers and 33's. That recipe will get ya 95% of the trails pretty easily. If you want the rest of the trails toss on some 35's and that gets you another 4%. That last 1% is expensive and requires the monster truck/tube buggyesque approach. The rocks in the nw are brutal on parts so you'd better have as much beef under the frame as you can afford.


I am building the antithesis of most rigs in the pnw. Rediculous 128 1/2" wheelbase, 92" wide and lower than most any tj on 33's.

Build a decent smaller rig and you'll have fun.
