Sarrogate scumby

needs a little work. wiper motor, dash lights, front marker light, problem with wiring harness at fan speed resistor, windshield cracked, interior door handle, carpet removal, more agressive tires. anyone parting anything out? once we find a house i'll order the half cab, start work on installation of stak 3 speed transfer case, 6 speed trans, acquire a snorkel (legally) and 8274 warn winch.

i've considered it but to let the truth be known the ORIGINAL scumby was a white 84 postal cj-8 right hand drive with a full world cab. so maybe it's more fitting to retain the color. i can still add the scumby decals on this one though. then the half cab would commemorate the second.

on a nother subject. anyone have any info on how the newer 37x12.5x16.5 hummer tires are?

they are pretty bad on snowy roads on a cummins but thats all i know they run pretty true on the road

That sure is a purdy rear axle housing. Still the 8.8?
I screwed up when I did my rear Rubi D44 axle swap, I set up all my angles with the Heep completely empty. Not even a gas tank in it.
By the time I put everything else back on: Full fuel tank, spare tire, recovery bag, tool bag, etc., etc., everything changed, and I had some driveline vibes on the steep uphill climbs my first trip out. Something to watch for on the coil springy TJ's I guess! I'm still a newb and learning as I go. :oops:

toby is right hi-9 by currie with 4.56's and an arb.

do you have adjustable control arms? if so you can adjust that pinion angle.

Yep, adjustable uppers and lowers. And re-adjusted.

Everything worked great at Liberty the last few days.
