Circa 2005…

So there I was. I had to kick the passenger door open to get out. Once I walked around the front and got my first look at what had just happened, I knew what was ultimately coming next. The Jeep had slipped into a rocky crevice, mashing the driver front fender, A-pillar, and door into one crushed pop can looking mess. Just a few months prior to that incident, while enjoying some quality time in Moab with my then-pregnant wife, I had noticed the rear quarter panels starting to resemble an accordion. The combination of these two events spelled the end for that, that wonderful Jeep. It was a 1989 Cherokee, affectionately known as “The Grocery Getterâ€

Toby, let me be the first to tell you congrats and that you make my head spin...in a wheelin sort of way of course.

I remember the 98 in the parking lot at work way before I knew you and envied it terribly. I'd drive my little Cherokee by hoping that some of your's would rub off. That was before my wheeling days as you know.

I've since bought 1 rig and I've totally lost track of how many you've had. This one looks super clean, one made for the family, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it lots....while you have it.

Can't wait to see it, well, I'll see it on Friday, but I'll be looking for it on the trail as well.

I was just drooling over a white one just like that out at work. 99 or 2000, .gov plate and all. It had to have had low miles if it's still in service.



Looks like Cherowagons are the trend. My friend Rick just bought two of them.

IWe have yet to have the pleasure of meeting but hopefully that will get done on Wednesday night. The new ride looks nice and clean. Question, is there 5 of those wheels you're not liking? We're looking for a set of 5 Alloy wheels for the wife's TJ to replace the black steelies, but I'm having a time finding 5... We are figuring on a 5 wheel rotation schedule to wear them all as similarly as possible, and are currently running and will most likely keep to the 31x10.50x15s on it.

That being said we have 5 nearly pew (90% or better stts sitting in the garage for sale if you had any interest...
