trans leak

One of the kids burned up the trans in her car, so we got a junk yard trans and put it in and everything works good.

The problem is it leaks from around the axle shaft, somewhere. We replaced all the seals when replacing the trans, then after we discovered it was leaking we just replaced it again with a little sealing goo around the lip to help seal the outside.
Now it's still leaking. Anyone seen a crack case that fluid seepted through? There is an indent in the case where the axle goes in and the fluid is showing up in the bottom of that indent but we can't see any fluid trails coming from the seal. Also after the test drive, it wasn't "spun" around like it would be if coming out of the seal.

It's a little fustrating not being able to find where it is leaking from.
The car is a 2005 Impala with the 3.4 and 4T60 trans.

Found a small crack up under the lip, we'll see how JB well and the Right stuff hold.

I would call the yard you got it from and see if they will waranty it for you.
