I concur. Just converted my come-along to electric.
Okay, we're a little crazy to have a Duramax for a daily driver. But if we go off our meds, we might wind up in a Prius.

Hard top hoists (the winch part) hurt when they fall on your head. That is all.

For as much as I use mine, I just went with the come-a-long hoist. Last time I used it was when I took the hard top off Feb 2011.

Lee, you should come over and test it for me.

Cause if there's a way to put an eye out with that thing................
