Opened a door. Sat down. Took a deep breath. Rotated the knob for Battery #2, flipped the switch for the left fuel pump. . .paused. . .got out. Looked at the dust lights. . .got back in. . .switched the ignition to ON and pushed the Black Button. No hesitation. . .It was like he was just sitting there waiting. Almost like a good dog when you've been away on a long trip.
It's a good thing that El Chivo needs a torque converter or the neighbors would have been filing complaints about a goofy a$$ looking silver ranger with a bunch of tube and fiberglass tearing up their front yards.
I haven't been inside the cockpit for many months. While I won't go into what my complete response to his willingness to get back in the fight was.. .I will say this:
The Mint 400 is March 21-23 in Las Vegas. Seems reasonable to me. . .
