Idaho Wheelin

Well it will be one year this April since I have moved to Boise so I figured that it was time that I check in to say HELLO. I've been on a couple of runs with a local group (http://www.idaho4x4.com/index.html) since I have left the Tri-Cities. Great group of guys with some very well built rigs. The most recent run was in the Owyhee Mountains on a couple trails called Meat Grinder and Dirty Little Secret (Webber Canyon times 10). I did make it through most of the obstacles only due to the fact that I had some good spotting. Just thought I would post some pictures to share. I do miss the snow runs, but I think I am going to have to get used to the rocks so the next time you see my rig it may have a few more dents.

RICH!!!! I had no idea you were in Boise?! I've been just over in Twin Falls since last January! We should get hooked up and do some wheelin!! Granted I'm no rock hound these days, especially with the soccer mom platform, but I'm always up for some fun on the trails... I've seen that group, and most of those Jeeps, around here too. Lots and LOTS of rocky canyons to explore, and from my experience thus far, it's all "open" to cross country travel, meaning you can literally point and shoot Very different than back home. Gotta love Idaho

Toby, we’ll definitely have to hook-up. My work schedule and travels back and forth to Pueblo Colorado are kind of crazy (long story short- Laura’s new home for now). I'm not sure if it is all "open" country yet, I'm still researching to figure out what and where is "legal" to wheel. If you are ever in Boise look me up.

i remember when they came out everyone was running them instead of coilovers (a little cheaper) i have a set of 18" forx 2.0's that are for the back of my willys pickup when ever i get it back over this way (hopefully this year) hope they are worthy as i have heard lots of people that dislike them for their no rebound
