Selling a car while waiting for a title

I paid my $$ and applied for a title. . .they say 4 to 6 weeks. If I sell in the mean time, do I just fill out a release of interest or is there another way since the title is already in process? DOL website is of no help. . .

Go to the licensing office with the buyer and they can transfer for you. Or wait for your title to show up.

No big deal just do as Ben says snd go to the dol with the buyer and they will transfer the title to them and tell you to throw the title away when it comes to you.

That's what I thought. . .just making sure since I hadn't done it. . .and I may not this time, but. . .well. . .always wheelin' dealin'. . .
