Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Postby iaccocca » Tue Dec 24, 2013 8:27 am

Merry Christmas to my Peak Putter Family! My prayer for each of you is that this is your best Christmas ever only to be surpassed by future Christmases.

Okay, we're a little crazy to have a Duramax for a daily driver. But if we go off our meds, we might wind up in a Prius.
If you want to hear God laugh, tell Him your plans.

Here's to 2014

Postby iaccocca » Tue Dec 31, 2013 8:59 am

Good riddance to 2013; the worst year of my life and it has had some serious competition. But in all that I do not have good friends, I have great friends. I am hopeful for a great 2014. Rubicon, please... the trail and my Jeep. I hope everyone's 2014 is better than their 2013, even if their 2013 was great.

2013 was a year of victories. Victories in the face of tragedy. Victories in the sense that we came out the other side. Victories of perseverance, steadfast resolve, love and hope in the face of unimaginable trials.

2013 was, in fact, the most difficult year of my life in spite of all of the wonderful experiences I had. But, in the end, it was a Victory. I'm glad this round is over, but I won't forget it. . .

Me: "How much time do we have?"

Not enough

Me: "Then let's go now."

The theme for 2014 is simple: ATTACK. GO. LIVE. LOVE. EXPERIENCE.

If the true measure of success is the simple act of getting up one more time than you fall down. . .stand up damnit.

Happy New Year 8) 8)
