This is a glimpse at the conditions that greeted us after the first good hill climb onto a hogs back:
When the snow wasn’t blowing it was fantastic though:

As we trudged up in elevation, conditions in the open areas got worse:
I got stuck, Jim got stuck, and Marc did an excellent job of not getting stuck. With conditions deteriorating, we decided to turn back as it would suck to try and fix anything that may let loose in weather like this:
About this time, Dave and Roy and Quigibo crept up on as, and we moved down the mountain together to find a break from the wind to eat some lunch. Marc lost a serpentine belt, but it was quickly reinstalled and the downward travel was resumed. The group at lunch:
After lunch we continued the rest of the way back down the corrals, but not before some more sledding and even a little hookey bobbing. Once we were all at the bottom, we aired up:
Sadly, this was the end of our wheeling but it was a great trip with great folks, and I certainly hope to do it again soon!
