Re: Bill Lucke
Bill gave me my first trail ride in 1992. I'd been in the rd 100 dunes, mud behind Acme, and basically "wheeled" locally but never been up to the mountains. After becoming acquainted with the Desert Rats, I went on the Labor Day Rim Rock with them. Saturday morning, after breakfast and a little delay as Ed fixed his throttle cable, we hopped into his green flatfender and headed out. The trail we ran that morning was Louie Gap and I was instantly hooked in wheelin'.
