New Years 2025

Postby Yrjan » Thu Dec 12, 2024 3:55 pm

Calling the New Years 2025 run. Please vote on where we should go. I'll be taking my KRX and will have a passenger. My buddy Bert will be taking his RZR. Will be running Peakputters GMRS channel 5.

This run is not a club exclusive run. All are welcome!

Thought I had posted already, must not have gone through...

In!

Anyone have reports of snow levels?
Todd is currently fitting his NEW Iroks!!!
I'm super stoked he was able to get Iroks, they've "looked" discontinued for a few years.

I was under the impression that Cowiche Mill rd from that access has been closed for a few years now?

I’m about 100% certain it’s open but just to be safe, my uncle is gonna drive up there in the next couple days. I talked to him tonight and he’s pretty sure Reynolds Creek access is open. He lives in Gleed. I’ll update once I hear back from him. Apparently there is another group staging at 1302. That’ll be a slippery mess. Also, there is no parking so it’s not a viable alternative at this time.

My uncle didn’t specify, but he did say “there is snow!”

I haven’t heard back from my uncle regarding Reynolds Creek access but we’re going to proceed regardless.

Meeting at the south side gas station in Benton City at 7:00am if anyone wants to caravan. I’ve got a small inverter that plugs into a cigarette lighter. Would someone in a full size rig be willing to take our crockpot up the mountain? We can’t carry it in the side by side. Iulia is making pulled pork again to eat at the look out.

Not ready, working late New Years Eve, so in.
Okay, we're a little crazy to have a Duramax for a daily driver. But if we go off our meds, we might wind up in a Prius.

Tires still not on jeep, lockers still don't work, and the radiator is empty. What could possibly go wrong!
