A clean slate
Yakima Herald-Republic

A slew of civic-minded four-wheelers and snowmobile enthusiasts turned out in force Saturday in the Ahtanum, but not to play on the trails -- to clean them. This load of trash was just part of the four pickup loads hauled out at the All Wheelers Off Road Club's Ahtanum Trails Clean-Up effort, which drew nearly five dozen volunteers from such clubs as the Eastern Washington Off Road forum, Lower Valley Canyon Crawlers, Jeeping Nomads, Peak Putters, Ridgerunners, Tuff Enuf Cascade Crawlers, Outlaws, Washington ATV Association and the Pacific Northwest 4WD Association.

I am glad I got to help out on this clean up and it is great to see others taking notice of our efforts.
