An Idea From Beth

Posted: Mon Aug 18, 2008 10:49 pm Post subject: Are Ya'll Serious About Promoting PNW? Here's Your Chance

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

With the chatter on the website about promoting PNW and what we do, there is a great opportunity to do so. How many read Petersen's 4Wheel&Offroad? On page 27 of the OCtober 08 issue there is a "calling all clubs".

They are starting a new section called Club Spotlight. They want pictures and details about a trailride, work party, beach cleanups, civic activities, etc etc. They are really pushing the idea of getting into a club and responsible four wheeling.

They want pics in high resolution at least 3x5in at 300dpi resolution or good quality prints and a short blurb about the event or activity.

Submissions can be sent to:

Club Spotlight
4-Wheel & Offroad Magazine
6420 Wilshire Blvd
Los Angeles, CA 90048

OR

email: 4wheeloffroad@sourceinterlink.com
Put Club Spotlight in the Subject line

So, the challenge is on...and while you submit your story to this publication seen worldwide, take the time and send your story to TriPower too.

We need to make sure Ceg sees this. From my limited time in the state he's the biggest supported of tread lightly that I've seen. Peant would be my next nominee for being the look out for those that are giving the off-road community a bad name.

Peanut, did you ever hear about what happened to those guys, if they got caught etc? I never knew the step penalties until I heard about those guys tearing up the meadow. Everyone seems to always focus on "bad news" but maybe an example of the consequences of not following the rules with make people think.
Gone wheel'n......I wish :(
