NEW JOB

Postby warrpath4x4 » Fri Oct 17, 2008 4:23 pm

i have currently been working for the department of the army as a civillian for over 4 years. while this, may sound like a good job, it is not. atleast at this job location it sucks. i work swingshift from 4pm-1:30am with tuesday-wednesday off. which means hardly no time to go wheeling.

WELL i start my new job on the 3rd of november working for a new sawmill here in town as a lubrication technician (possible supervisor). more pay, better benefits, still swing shift (2pm-10pm OR 1pm-9pm) with weekends off.

which means MORE TIME TO WHEEL.

He's a major management type. My wife graduated high school with him down in Gold Beach. His Dad, Brownie, was one of the last old school loggers down there back in the 40's, 50's and 60's, along with Glen Austin and Wilford Laird. I started this job journey we all make working in the woods logging old growth for Glen, among others. I don't recommend it as a career choice

Really :?: I grew up in North Bend, and my wife is from Gold Beach. We were just down there. May move back one of these days after some of our activities here taper off, or at least spend more time down there...

Best time to find a job is when you have a job. Good for you.
Okay, we're a little crazy to have a Duramax for a daily driver. But if we go off our meds, we might wind up in a Prius.
If you want to hear God laugh, tell Him your plans.
