An announcement just received from the Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office (RCO) (formally Interagency for Outdoor Recreation) stating they are seeking volunteers to serve on two trail advisory committees; Non Highway Off Road Vehicle Activities (NOVA) and National Recreational Trails Program (NRTP) and can represent specific outdoor recreation.
NOVA (State Program) has openings in the following categories open:
) Non motorized - hikers and backpackers;
) Non Highway - hunting, fishing, gathers, equestrians;
) Motorized - All Terrain Vehicle riding.
NRTP (Federal Program - managed by the state) has the following categories open:
) Equestrains;
) Off road vehicle motorcycle riding.
Applications are due February 13th; forms can be found at:
