Do any of you have a small trailer NickO can higrade late this week? He needs to haul an engine down to PDX Thursday if all goes according to plan...Lugging a 700# lump in his Scout is fugly.

Sure my parents have a small flat bed trailer with racks that'd haul that with no issues at all. Generic flat 4 wiring licensed and ready to go. If Nick needs it before I get home Peanut can drive to Prosser and grab it no problem.

I left my receiver ball in Spokane, and I'll have to grab one at wallyworld -- what size ball, 1 7/8? Plus, I think I'm going to need one with a pretty substantial drop.

I have drop hitches too. 2" and 6" then a like 14" that a buddy made..


It's a 2" ball coupler. It's more than up to the task at hand. I took 4900 lbs of scrap steel in it behind my little ranger to the scrap yard last summer...


Grumpy what kind of fun would that be if she knew ahead of time?

Nick I will go get the trailer either tonight or tomorrow and drop it and the hitch off at Grumpy's. Will that work??

I'm still working out the details of me possibly heading out of town again. But I will make sure you or Grumpy has the trailer before I leave.

Peanut, if I'm not around, put it in against the fence on the south side of the house. The next couple of days are usy with the ARC, so I may be gone.
