why isnt there more 1/2 or 3/4 tons out there?
i Drive a 1979 ford f-150 and i was just wondering why there wasnt very many on your forum. i know alot of people that wheel bigger trucks. whats the deal!?!?!

There are lot's of Fords owners on this board.........They just use them to tow there rigs and sleep in!!

While I've got a wrangler, I also run a 3rd gen Toyota p/u. Not concerned really about body damage with it, but I am with the wrangler. I know a couple guys around that run eb's. But like has been mentioned, for the trails in the mountains, the full size stuff just doesn't fit in a lot of places without causing damage either to the trail or the vehicle.

In addition to my Jeep and my big Ford, I'm building a sorta Samurai thingy right now. . .that is another good choice for the type of trails we see.
So for rigs with bodies:
Jeeps
EB (Early Broncos)
Toyotas (minitrucks and 4runners)
Samurai
IH Scout
If you want to be different, build something custom. The tight twisty trails around our area are NOT good for full size trucks.
